Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference Photos

Below are some highlights from the conference. I attended a lunch with Pulitzer winner Maria Hinojosa, met the CEO of C-SPAN, and spoke to Washington Post reporter Maura Judkis. To emphasize the importance of journalistic ethics to my staff, I include a slide on it during the "welcome" presentation that kicks off each semester. Those lessons are then continually emphasized throughout the semester.
