Features: Amplifying the Artistic Community at USN

While the South is not typically seen as America's bastion of culture, I wanted to amplify the artistic culture of Nashville through my writing. I did this through a series of profiles on Gidgie Bass, a senior at my school who has connections to the Nashville film, photography, and fashion scenes. I tried to capture a variety of Gidgie's interest and the state of the arts in Nashville through these pieces. I also explored LGBT representation in film and Gidgie's aspirations to change the state of that representation.
